A versatile and experienced defender, Beauchamp offers cover at centre-back and right-back

His fine form in the A-League earned him a call-up from Guus Hiddink just before the 2006 World Cup, and he was an unused substitute during that tournament in Germany.

With the first-choice back four all four years older now, Beauchamp will be confident of actually getting some game time this time round.

After spending four years in Europe with Nurnberg in Germany and Aalborg in Denmark, Beauchamp returned to the A-League and signed for Melbourne Heart.
