Stuttgart midfielder Khedira joined his hometown club's youth ranks in 1995 and has since gone on to make more than 85 first-team appearances.
The 23-year-old signed a contract extension in July 2008 to ensure he will stay with Stuttgart until the summer of 2011.
Khedira was the captain of the Germany side who won the 2009 Under-21 European Championship, defeating England in the final.
He then went on to win his first cap for his country's senior team in September 2009 when he played in a friendly against South Africa.
Khedira returned to training with Stuttgart in April after three weeks on the sidelines due to a knee injury and he recently announced that he does not plan to leave the club this summer.
