Europe's top clubs are reported to be interested in midfielder Lukman, who is set to be a first-choice pick for the Super Eagles in South Africa.
Only 19, Lukman is already an established member of the Monaco first-team squad.
A midfield general in the mould of Michael Essien, Lukman impressed for Nigeria at youth level and was the captain of the Super Eagles team which won the Under-17 World Cup in South Korea three years ago.
Lars Lagerback called Lukman into the senior team in time for this summer's World Cup, and he now has experience as a full international under his belt.
Lukman scored his first international goal in a friendly against Colombia in Milton Keynes earlier this year.
