Despite his young years Kuzmanovic has become a key member of Radomir Antic's squad despite not being born in Serbia.
The 22-year-old was born in Switzerland and represented the Swiss at Under-21 level but opted for Serbia in early 2007 having qualified through his parents.
Switzerland's loss proved to be Serbia's gain with Kuzmanovic currently amassing 27 caps to his name, including six appearances in qualifying, scoring four goals.
Kuzmanovic began his career with Swiss side FC Basle and by the time he had turned 19 had signed a four-and a half year contract with Italian side Fiorentina.
The midfielder established himself as a main player for the Viola in his two seasons at Artemio Franchi and attracted the interest of a host of top European clubs.
Bundesliga side Stuttgart won the race to sign Kuzmanovic last summer and although he forced his way into the first team he could not help change the club's fortunes in what was a disappointing campaign.
