Wags & Stags Knockout Tree

Last updated: 25th June 2010

Welcome to Wags and Stags where we pit football's perfect pairings against each other as they represent their respective countries in our fun-filled World Cup game.

We've trawled the world to select the stars in South Africa - and their better halves - to fly the flag for their nations in our game of glitz and glamour.

A couple will represent each nation taking part in this summer's global showcase. They will then be matched against the other sides in their World Cup groups in a battle of brains, brawn and beauty.

Click the fixtures below to see us run the rule over each pairing. You can then vote for the Wag and Stag you think should win the match-up. The couple with the highest vote wins the day - and the three points.

As with the 'real' World Cup, the couples with the most points will progress from the group to the knockout stages, meeting other perfect pairings along the way to a grand finale. Then on July 11 we will crown the World Cup's hottest Wag and Stag.
